The PPSC conduct the following seminars/training to equip the investigators on the cyber incidental response, preservation of evidence regarding cyber or computer related crimes;

11.  What reforms/measures are being undertaken for the professionalization of the police, fire and jail personnel?
The following are the reforms/measures being undertaken by PPSC to professionalize the police, fire and jail personnel:
A. Education and Training
For PNPA, BOT Resolution 2001-04 lowered the minimum educational qualification from 2-year college (72 units) to at least high school graduate to help those students who cannot afford to pursue college education but willing to join the public safety services.
B. Curriculum Development
Incorporated the six- month Field Training Exercises (FTX) or On-the-Job Training in the twelve-month Field Training Program (FTP) in accordance with Section 19 Title 4 of RA 8551 inclusive of the other six-month Academic Phase or the Police Basic Recruit Course (PBRC).
Incorporated one-month long Internal Security Operations (ISO) Module to the Programs of Instruction of all mandatory career courses in compliance with Executive Order 546 which directs the PNP to actively support the Armed Forces in suppressing insurgency and other serious threats to national security.
Upgraded the Public Safety Criminal Investigation Course (CIDC) into Special Crime Investigation and Detection Course (SCRIDEC) to address the need of the police service for specialized training on criminal investigation and in response to the Presidential Order of PGMA to establish a world class Special Crime Detection and Investigation School.
C. Faculty Development
Laid the groundwork for the proposed creation of a Corps of Professors, envisioned to be a separate and distinct service from the three (3) uniformed bureaus command structure.
Rationalized/Increased the honoraria rate of in-house and guest lecturers.
Created the PPSC Faculty Rank Classification Board (FRCB) to enhance rank classification, course/subject rating and PPSC Faculty members nationwide.
Upgraded Faculty Qualification Standards at PPSC requiring professors and instructors to be Master’s Degree holder or at least with 20 units earned in a Master’s Degree.
Improved/institutionalized mechanism or instrument for monitoring punctuality, lesson preparation and classroom performance of faculty.
D. Organizational and Systems Development
Activated/institutionalized Disciplinary and Appellate Machineries to address administrative and academic appeals of PNPA cadets and PPSC students.
Created/activated the Center for Special Public Safety Services (CSPSS), under which are the Knowledge Management Center and the Anti-terrorism Office, with the aim to enhance the e-technology capability of the PPSC in research, records and information management, data-basing, and evaluation system, and handle the Counter Terrorism Programs.
Upgraded physical facilities at the constitutive Institutes and Regional Training Schools based on model structures of classrooms, barracks, and mess.

12.  How many classes were accomplished from 1994 to October 2008?
From the time of its inception up to October 2008, the PPSC conducted 3,866 classes with 199,711 participants. (Appendix C)
