The 1st Phase of PSFTP Cl 2010- 03 A-D, and PSFTP Cl 2010 - 04 A-C SAF were successfully concluded on June 14, 2011, 10:00 o'clock in the morning held at SOLCOM Grandstand with Guest of Honor and speaker, Atty, Ruben R. Platon, Ph.D, President, PPSC. A total of Three Hundred Nineteen (319) recruits were turned over properly to their respective units for the 2nd phase of their training headed by PSSUPT MAMERTO V VALENCIA, Chief, RPHRDD, PRO MIMAROPA and PCINSP JONAS PEDRO C ESCARCHA, Chief, HRMD, SAF respectively.
The activity was graced by invited guests from PPSC, PRO MIMAROPA, PNP SAF and other units, media, families and friends of the students.
Need for two (2) Contractual workers for clerical jobs, one (1) utility worker and two (2) for the position of Training Specialist I.
Submission of application with duly accomplished folder of requirements not later than March 23, 2011 addressed to: Regional Training Director, Regional Training School 6, JJ Gonzaga Village, Bakyas, Mansilingan, Bacolod City.

PHILIPPINE PUBLIC SAFETY COLLEGE SYSTEM ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
(January – December 2010)
The enactment of Republic Act Number 6975 (RA 6975), otherwise known as the “Department of the Interior and Local Government Act of 1990” created another significant government functionary that will ensure the continuing professionalization of our law enforcement and public safety services.
Under section 66 of RA 6975, the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) was established and constituted to be the “ Premier educational institution for the training, human resource development and continuing education of all personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) ”. Graduation Ceremony of the Philippine National Police Academy Class of 2011. His Excellency Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III will be the Guest of Honor and Speaker. The Class 2011 composed of 262 cadets will be conferred the Bachelor of Science in Public Safety degree during the ceremony scheduled on 26 March 2011 at 10am, PNPA, Camp Gen Castaneda, Silang, Cavite. The graduating cadets in the presence of their proud parents will have the rare chance to render salute and shake the hand of the President of the Republic as they are sworn in as police, fire, and jail inspectors which signals the start of their career as public safety officers of the country.
The Philippine Public Safety College will conduct a seminar on "Curriculum Development" to be participated by the Chiefs of Curriculum Development and Deans of Academics from the Philippine National Training Institute ( PNTI), National Police College (NPC), National Forensic Science Training Institute (NFSTI), Jail National Training Institute ( JNTI), Fire National Training Institute (FNTI), and the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).
The seminar will be held at Makati Palace Hotel on January 21 at 9am. |
